Return Policy: Steps for a Successful Return

To ensure your return is processed smoothly, please follow these guidelines:

  • Return Window: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of purchase. Returns requested after this period will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
  • Condition of Items:
    • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include the original packaging.
    • Any signs of use or missing packaging will make the item ineligible for a return.
  • Shipping Costs:
    • You are responsible for the shipping costs to return your item.
    • The shipping cost will be deducted from your refund if applicable.
  • Shipping Requirements:
    • Use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance to ensure your item reaches us.
    • Recommended services: DHL for faster issue resolution.
    • MAET does not guarantee receipt of your returned item if shipped without tracking.
  • Delivered Duties Paid (DDP):
    • Ship the item back with Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) to avoid additional charges.
    • MAET will not cover duties or taxes on returned items.
    • If duties or taxes are charged to MAET, the corresponding amount will be deducted from your refund.
  • Refund Timing:
    • Once the return is received and inspected, we will process your refund.
    • The orginal shipping costs incurred will be deducted from the refund amount.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. No refunds will be offered for items already exchanged.

 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at studio@maet.co.

 

No refunds or returns for Sale items & Custom Designs or Made to Measure

Sale items, custom designs and Custom Measurements can not be refunded or exchanged.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at studio@maet.co.

If the item doesn’t fit we offer size exchanges only once.
